Ron works so hard to make things comfortable for the animals. It seems when we think the work on a certain project is complete, we find it needs to be tweaked a little to make it work out the way we hoped.
We have a sweet dog named Mimi who is relatively new here. She gets picked on by other dogs wherever she lives. It happened in the home we got her from. We didn't expect it to happen here. Usually, all our dogs get along...but not with Mimi. Mimi lives in the house with several other dogs. They seem fine with her, but the dogs that have access to the rest of the property beat her up whenever they get a chance.
We have a back deck with artificial turf where the house dogs can go out to do their business when they need to. Mimi seemed fine with that. But, for whatever reason she jumped over the railing into the driveway and the dogs out there beat her up...not once, but twice! So, we were being very vigilant that when we were away Mimi had to be crated. Ron, being the caring person that he is, decided to modify the railing to keep Mimi from jumping over. He has spent several hours improvising a higher railing just so Mimi won't get hurt again also making it look nice. I love that! I hope Mimi appreciates all the work he went to just for her.
